This winning team shall make imaginings of the majority become truth, through the project, dubbed as “ANG PAMBANSANG BABOY PROJECT”
Its headship is an equally dignified partnership of the one only founder and Chairman of Gawad Kalinga (GK) Mr. Antonio Meloto, and the Chief-Executive-Officer of the elarZ Pambansang Lechon Mr. Manuel Enrique Zalamea.

Together, they shall guide, manage and control the mission of the project—“making every Filipino family a strong middle class”, and further help eradicate poverty by producing the best lechon, by the Filipino communities. Pambansang Baboy Project will mainly focus its efforts to bring into being the BEST TASTING LECHON—NATURAL, HYBRID, and ORGANIC pigs. This shall then be dispersed in all leading elarZ Pambansang lechon branches nationwide, while conveying social entrepreneurship to all the communities of Gawad Kalinga.
